I get the feeling that Mercedes is trying to go for a strategy similar to Hungary: late switch onto Mediums to catch the Ferraris (well, Vettel specifically since Leclerc is still out there) as their tires fall off.

Not sure how that’ll work since I think it’s much cooler today than in practice... I don’t know.

It’s where HAM was always catching LEC but on that lap he had to hold back since he couldn’t go flat-out through the yellow flags. Might’ve put HAM a bit closer towards the bus stop chicane.

Either way, a hell of a drive from both of them. Happy that LEC got his first win but I’m sure we all wish it was under happier circumstances.
